Job Description General Purpose: Under the supervision of the Youth Programs and Events Supervisor, and the Youth Camp Program Assistant, Youth Camp Counselors will teach and supervise activities for youth ages 6-17 in an aquatic environment. Counselors are responsible for all aspects of youth programs operations including, but not limited to: supervising and ensuring the safety of campers, teaching and operating watersports activities, setting up and cleaning up equipment, and providing outstanding customer service. Youth program activities occur both on land and on/in the water. The primary work will occur during summer, however, youth programming occurs in spring and fall seasons as well.
