Job Description General Summary Operates, maintains and repairs an operational engineering plant which provides a facility with such services as heat, air-conditioning, steam, and emergency power. Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment. This position coordinates and assists in the management of an Intensive Outpatient treatment program for the Next Steps North Program and the Vocational Services Program at the Montefiore Wellness Centers and the Substance Abuse Treatment Programs. This position coordinates and assists in the daily management of a large Opioid Treatment Program. The staff member must assist in ensuring the smooth operation of both the programs in accordance with Federal, State and local regulatory standards. The Division of Substance Abuse of the Montefiore Medical Center is the largest medical school affiliated treatment program in the United States. Our program provides comprehensive substance abuse treatment along with on-site medical and psychiatric healthcare for over 4,000 patients. Responsible for the management and coordination of work projects for the construction, renovation and ongoing maintenance of the buildings of Montefiore Wellness Centers. Work involves the management of actual construction activities in coordination with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors. Responsibilities include the regular inspection of facilities for repair and maintenance purposes, the planning of work required, and estimates of material costs and man hours required. The Methadone Counselor position provides counseling to individuals receiving integrated substance abuse treatment and primary care services at the Substance Abuse Treatment Program. Essential Functions: • Comprehensive psychosocial., • Instruct patients in program policies and procedures., • Development, implementation, and review of treatment plans., • Provision of substance abuse counseling to individuals, groups, and families.
