Job Description We are currently looking for a full-time or part-time Perinatologist - Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to provide daytime coverage at our offices in Greenwich, CT, White Plains, and Rye, NY. This position does not require hospital coverage. The physician will be tasked with delivering comprehensive clinical care to all patients. Responsibilities include: • Gathering medical, social, and developmental histories of patients., • Conducting physical examinations and administering immunizations., • Diagnosing conditions and formulating treatment plans in collaboration with patients., • Managing both acute and chronic health issues., • Providing health education and counseling while promoting preventive health practices., • Prescribing medications and delegating immunization tasks to clinical support staff as permitted by regulations., • Initiating necessary laboratory, radiology, and pathology tests, as well as specialty consultations., • Reviewing and promptly following up on incoming reports., • Prioritizing medical care and consulting with specialists for high-risk or complex cases., • Implementing clinical policies in collaboration with department leadership and other providers to ensure state-of-the-art medical care., • Supervising assigned advanced practice providers (physician assistants and nurse practitioners) as applicable., • Assisting in the training and orientation of new providers and clinical support staff., • Fostering a collaborative and professional work environment among team members., • Maintaining active licensure in New York or Connecticut and all necessary credentials for medical practice., • Managing services in accordance with established organizational policies and medical guidelines., • Participating in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and clinical projects as needed, while collaborating with other healthcare team members on case management.Required Qualifications, • Medical Degree with an active Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) license in New York or Connecticut., • Board Certification and an active DEA license., • BLS and ACLS certification., • Ability to work effectively within a clinical team., • Demonstrated professional integrity and ethical practice., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with effective conflict resolution abilities., • Patient-centered approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional and compassionate care.
