Job Description Position: Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS) Location: Long Island City, NY Duration: 9 Weeks Shift: Day Shift – 8 Hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | 40 Hours per Week Travel Pay: Up to $68/hr including stipend ($1,875–$2,100/week) Position Overview: Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Long Island City, NY. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and examine patients for ultrasound procedures following established departmental protocols. * Operate, adjust, and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring safety for patients and staff. * Set up, clean, and perform minor adjustments to imaging equipment. * Ensure adequate supplies are available for daily operations. * Assist in mentoring and orienting new ultrasound personnel. * Capture images onto PACS and transfer to physicians’ workstations. * Answer phones, schedule examinations, and coordinate patient transportation as needed. * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills: Required: * ARDMS – Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) * BLS certification * 0-2 years of ultrasound technologist experience * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office/administrative practices * Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion Education: * Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology OR * High School/GED plus successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography program * Knowledge of routine diagnostic and breast imaging procedures is preferred For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
