Job DescriptionJob Summary The Assistant Conservator is responsible for the examination, documentation, and treatment of significant textile artworks, including historic Savonnerie carpets, within a gallery setting. This role supports conservation efforts for a major exhibition and ongoing collection care initiatives. The position requires adherence to professional conservation standards while performing treatment work in a public-facing environment. This is a term-limited position with a duration of one year from the date of hire.
