Job Description The Role Liberty Science Center (LSC) is seeking multiple Seasonal Guest Ambassadors to provide excellent customer care to our enthusiastic guests from March to September 2026. Ambassadors are the first point of contact with our guests and play a vital role in providing a quality experience from the moment visitors walk through our doors to the moment they exit. The Guest Ambassador is the heartbeat of the frontline team and is essential to fostering an environment that is safe, engaging, enjoyable, and conducive to learning. Seasonal Guest Ambassadors will work in a variety of galleries and experiences throughout the building to engage guests, answer questions, resolve issues, control crowds and lines, and oversee the condition, presentation, and safety of all public spaces. Seasonal Guest Ambassadors report to the Guest Engagement management team and are expected to be engaged participants in the broader LSC work community. Classification and Schedule The Seasonal Guest Ambassador is a position that offers an opportunity to work a part-time schedule for a temporary period of time. This role is non-exempt, meaning it is eligible for overtime for work that exceeds 40 hours per week. All overtime must be approved in advance by the supervisor. Seasonal Guest Ambassadors must be available to work Saturday through Wednesday between March and Labor Day. Opportunities to work evening events will also be available. Shifts may range from 4-8 hours in duration. Job Description POSITION SUMMARY Learning Gardens brings year-round, field and school-based garden science learning to NYC school children and community members. Our gardens are outdoor classrooms that provide vibrant green space in some of New York City’s most densely populated neighborhoods. We operate three gardens in three boroughs. Using our four community gardens, CPF presents engaging interdisciplinary lessons to expand student learning around urban ecology, horticulture, soil science, and sustainable urban food systems. Students in 2nd – 8th grade and their teachers receive resource materials, curricula, and tools to enhance their understanding of ecosystem services and address the unique challenges of growing food in an urban environment. High School interns are trained in garden instruction and horticultural techniques throughout the spring and then work alongside Learning Gardens staff throughout the summer. The Seasonal Garden Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day field operations in our main Learning Gardens located in Brownsville, South Jamaica, and the South Bronx. This includes garden maintenance, repairs, coordinating volunteer events, and assisting the community gardener program. The ideal candidate will be an excellent time manager, able to multitask, very well-organized, and an effective communicator. This is a seasonal, 8-month position reporting to the Director of Education and assisting the school day and internship program managers. Responsibilities: • Develop, execute, and manage cross channel marketing campaigns for season productions adhering to pre-established budgets, ensuring invoices and payments are reconciled in a timely manner., • Closely monitor ticket sales to achieve earned revenue goals, and ticket inventory ensuring performances are filled and adjust marketing plans as necessary., • Manage internal graphic requests and the proofing of assets related to the production as well as internal and external email building using Prospect 2 and Dreamweaver (HTML)., • Support social content creation and updates on The Public’s website., • Maintain key external relationships with media vendors and community partners and leaders., • Attend events and performances to support special projects or publicity events that may occur outside of regular business hours (photo shoots or opening nights), as needed., • Partner with the Director of Corporate Partnerships on marketing related needs for partners., • Partner with the Director of Patron Programs and other members of the Development Department to support marketing related needs., • 3-5 years in marketing or advertising for arts, culture, or entertainment marketing or sales, including contributing to an annual earned revenue goal., • Strong administrative skills including organization, spelling and grammar, attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, budget reconciliation, • Able to prioritize and manage multiple, concurrent projects under pressure, and with unpredictable schedules, in a fast-paced environment., • Strong interpersonal skills and experience building and maintaining respectful internal and external relationships., • A creative, strategic thinker, and motivated self-starter that works well in a team but can work independently., • Proficient with technology systems–like Tessitura, Slack, Teams, Microsoft Suite, Concur, Asana, and other office tools., • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, tracking, and reconciliation., • Understanding of anti-racism principles and practices coupled with dedication to furthering how marketing can contribute to this work. We’re seeking a Senior Creative Director with direct Broadway experience to lead full advertising campaigns for live theatrical brands. This is a hands-on creative leadership role for someone who understands the unique rhythm of theater marketing — from early key art through opening night and sustained runs — and can translate the magic of live performance into bold, commercial storytelling. What You’ll Do • Lead creative strategy and execution for a portfolio of Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, • Own campaigns across the full lifecycle of a show, • Develop insight-driven concepts that balance theatrical storytelling with ticket-selling performance, • Translate each show’s identity into cohesive, multi-platform creative across OOH, digital, social, print, video, broadcast, and experiential, • Partner with producers, general managers, and client stakeholders as a primary creative voice on accounts (scope and autonomy scale by level), • Stay hands-on in your craft (copy, design, or video) while guiding teams toward high creative standards, • Lead internal reviews and client presentations with clarity and confidence, • Mentor Art Directors and Copywriters, supporting growth and creative consistency, • Collaborate with Client Services and Project Management to align creative ambition with budgets, timelines, and resources, • Prior, hands-on experience marketing Broadway or Off-Broadway (commercial or nonprofit) productions (required), • 8+ years of experience in creative roles within agency or entertainment environments, • A strong portfolio of integrated, multi-platform campaigns for theater or live events, • Clear storytelling instincts and a strong creative point of view, • Experience leading teams and giving actionable creative direction, • Confidence presenting work and partnering with clients, • Fluency across digital, social, video, and experiential channels; familiarity with emerging tools (including AI) is a plus, • Salary range: $125,000 – $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience, • Health care plan (medical, dental, and vision), • Retirement plan with employer match, • Life and disability insurance, • Generous paid time off package that includes vacation, sick, “life happens” days, birthdays, summer Fridays and public holidays, • Paid family leave, • Cold brew coffee, snacks and fresh fruit, • Wellness resources
