PURPOSE STATEMENT: Preventive Services help keep children safe from abuse, neglect and maltreatment and help them remain at home and in their communities. The Case Planner makes safety-focused assessments of the child and family, and provides counseling services, advocacy and refers for concrete services to help stabilize the environment, improve family well-being, and to reduce the future need for child welfare involvement.
