Job Description Forhyre is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team and help provide uncompromised animal care! As a Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs), you will be responsible for providing quality, compassionate care to a variety of animals. A day as an LVT can include, IV placements, blood and urine collection, x-rays, client communications, administering vaccines, triage, admitting patients for hospitalization and ICU care. Anesthetic procedures include general surgery, specialty surgery, MRI, scoping, dentistry and emergency procedures. Cross training in Specialty Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Neurology, Emergency and Laboratory is available. You will be required to administer injections, measure and record vital signs, collect and analyze samples, monitor anesthesia, take radiographs, monitor and treat animals in recovery, and assist the veterinarian in any procedures. The successful candidate will be highly organized and able to perform tasks efficiently under pressure. They must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A strong commitment to the quality of animal care required for the job is essential. Job Description Licensed Veterinary Technician working in Internal Medicine (IM) performing Dialysis must be able to perform at a high level of practice with minimal supervision. The role includes assisting internists with appointments, client communication, and collaborating with staff doctors to make daily assessments and procedures run smoothly and efficiently. Job DescriptionJoin the Interventional Radiology / Interventional Endoscopy Team Drs. Chick Weisse and Allyson Berent The Katharine and William Rayner Interventional Radiology (IR) and Endoscopy (IE) Suite is the first facility of its kind, offering complete interventional capabilities for veterinary patients. Well established in human medicine, these minimally invasive procedures provide unparalleled precision in the treatment and diagnosis of complex medical conditions. The IR / IE team is co-led by Drs. Chick Weisse and Allyson Berent, who have pioneered the use of these lifesaving procedures in companion animals. IR / IE Veterinary Technicians provide anesthesia for these cutting-edge procedures, working alongside our highly skilled technicians and our board-certified anesthesiologist. IR/IE Technicians also participate in clinic appointments and communicate post-operatively with clients and assist in patient discharges.
