This position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of their F&B outlet(s). Ensures a fun and attractive atmosphere is maintained so that guests and employees alike recognize the outlet(s) to be the area restaurant(s) of choice. Ensures F&B operations run pursuant to property standards and all food is ordered, plated, delivered, and rung up according to brand standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS: • Develops, affects, and monitors the annual budget & market plan and manages within those approved plans. Responsible for the analysis of the budget and P&L for the outlet. Ensures training and compliance of all accounting and cash handling procedures, processes, and standards, • Oversee payroll, performance management, 90-day and annual appraisals, and compensation of front-of-house and back-of-house staff, • Manage the selection and retention processes and ensure effective employee hiring, training, development, promotion, and continuous reinforcement of service expectations, • Oversees the accuracy of the monthly inventory process. Ensures orders are placed correctly and timely, • Supports and manages the Food & Beverage department while working closely with the General Manager and other resort departments, such as Events & Catering, • Ability to speak, read, and write in English. Bilingual preferred, but not required, • Ability to listen and understand English, • Able to perform under pressure, • Strong passion and knowledge of retail operations and guest services, • Great customer service attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile, • Anticipate customer needs, • Food safety awareness certification within 90 days, • Safe Food Handling certification and ability to train/certify team members, • Alcohol Awareness certification
