Job Description Summary of Position The Warehouse Support Associate plays a vital role in maintaining an organized, efficient, and accurate warehouse operation. This position is responsible for supporting all areas of warehouse activity, including loading and unloading materials for installers, receiving and verifying deliveries from vendors, and ensuring accurate tracking and distribution of materials for construction projects. Responsibilities also include will-calling materials from vendors, assist at on-site job bins, and maintaining inventory integrity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment. Essential Responsibilities Inventory Management • Ensure all received materials are accounted for, labeled accurately, and stored in designated warehouse locations. Material Handling • Pick up wall and/or flooring materials from vendors and deliver to the warehouse or job site per the schedule provided by the Warehouse Administrator., • Immediately report missing, incorrect, or damaged materials to the Warehouse Administrator., • Assist with job packing and breakdown of wall tile; label materials for installation prior to job site delivery., • Sort and stage wall tile materials for scheduled deliveries., • Deliver materials to job sites as needed., • Unload deliveries from vendors, verifying products and quantities are correct and damage-free. • Assist at job site bins with inventory checks, maintenance, and cleanout., • Clearly mark, identify, and assign storage locations for all materials., • Stage materials in the warehouse based on scheduled installations., • Load materials for installers and ensure readiness prior to delivery or job start., • Communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors as necessary. System Management • Receive all materials into the Floor Manager system, regardless of whether they were delivered by vendors or will-called by installers., • Upload vendor receivers into the job mail system for accounting., • Notify the Wall Tile Production Coordinator immediately regarding any missing, incorrect, or damaged materials. Warehouse Maintenance • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times., • Follow all safety guidelines and company protocols., • Provide backup coverage for other warehouse team members as needed. Requirements • High School Diploma or GED required, • Forklift certification, • Clean driving record, • Prior experience in Customer Care, Design Center, or warehouse operations preferred, • Strong organizational and time management skills, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Photoshop a plus, • Willingness to learn new systems and software, • Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills, • Flexibility to adjust to changing project timelines, • Self-motivated and dependable team player, • Professional conduct in both workplace and field environments
