Job Description Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is seeking a Team Lead, Warehouse supporting outbound in Florence, NJ. Hours for this role are 7:00AM - 4:00PM. POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for leading a team of forklift operators in accurately picking, staging, and loading outbound HVAC equipment and accessories. Oversees the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and clamping equipment, ensuring outbound shipments meet company standards for safety, security, and productivity. Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Lead a team of forklift operators to ensure outbound shipments are picked, staged, and loaded accurately and efficiently, providing direction and tracking team performance in meeting outbound shipping schedules., • Fill all duties of a forklift operator, including but not limited to the following:, • Operate electric-powered forklifts and clamps efficiently and safely, performing daily equipment inspections., • Performing minor maintenance and adjustments., • Advise management of equipment issues or failures., • Direct team members and track efficiencies of the shipping process by extracting data from SAP and analyzing in Excel as needed., • Understand, audit, and hold team members accountable for following all safety protocols., • Insure all employees (contract or METUS) are performing duties as assigned and meeting goals., • Ensure accurate order picking, staging, and loading of trailers while meeting time and quality requirements., • Ensure all physical and systemic compliance for all picks and warehouse moves completed through SAP., • Audit outbound shipping manifests and documentation for accuracy of picked and loaded goods. Documents information relating to the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials., • Ensure that the warehouse is clean and organized and that all safety issues are reported., • Remain vigilant and cognizant of all potential theft or loss situations., • Ensures that the warehouse is secure when unattended., • Follow all CTPAT guidelines while completing work assignments and duties., • Ensure that contract employees are performing duties as assigned., • Perform repetitive tasks such as picking, staging, loading containers, and stacking materials for outbound shipment., • Support shift supervisor in daily tasks., • High school diploma or GED certificate preferred., • 3+ years’ experience leading a team to achieve operational goals., • 3+ years of forklift clamp experience., • Previous experience in appliance or HVAC material handling., • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds., • Knowledge of outbound distribution process and shipping procedures preferred., • Experience with Microsoft Excel (Filtering, Pivot Tables, V-lookups). The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including target bonus plans and discretionary awards.
