    Cicchetti is seeking a bartender who is serious about hospitality, fast on their feet, and genuinely excited by Italian drinking culture. Our bar program is built around aperitivo, spritzes, bespoke cocktails, amari, vermouth, and a tightly considered wine list with a strong Italian focus. We are looking for someone who can move with precision, warmth, and calm under pressure, while helping create a bar that feels both elegant and alive. What the role involves You will be responsible for executing cocktails consistently, serving wine with confidence and care, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and delivering hospitality that feels attentive rather than scripted. This role requires both technical ability and strong floor awareness. You should know how to manage a rush, read a room, communicate with the team, and keep standards high without becoming rigid. Responsibilities Prepare and serve cocktails, spritzes, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks with consistency and speed Maintain deep knowledge of the cocktail list, wine list, spirits, aperitivi, amari, and featured products Guide guests through the menu with confidence, including pairings and style descriptions Set up, break down, clean, stock, and organize the bar before, during, and after service Follow house recipes, batching systems, prep standards, and service steps exactly Monitor inventory, flag low stock of products Work closely with the floor and kitchen teams to keep service smooth and guest-focused Handle cash and POS accurately Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and responsible alcohol service standards at all times What we’re looking for Previous bartending experience in a fast-paced restaurant or cocktail bar Strong hospitality instincts and real comfort speaking with guests Interest in Italian wine, aperitivo culture, regional products, and thoughtful low-intervention beverage programs Ability to multitask under pressure without losing composure or attention to detail Strong sense of personal responsibility, cleanliness, punctuality, and teamwork Ability to stand for long periods, lift inventory, and work nights, weekends, and holidays Wine knowledge is a plus; curiosity and willingness to learn are essential Ideal candidate The right person for this role is not just making drinks.
