Job Description Title of Position: Lead Community Organizer, Public Policy and Strategy FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Department: Public Policy and Strategy Report to: VP, Public Policy and Strategy Positions Reporting to this Position: None Purpose of the Position: Since its founding to provide emergency shelter to four homeless women and their children, Win has grown into the largest provider of family shelter and supportive housing in New York City. Win offers transitional shelter housing and permanent supportive housing that’s coupled with programs and services developed to support long-term housing stability. All of Win’s services are guided by its mission: to transform the lives of New York City homeless women and their children by providing safe housing, critical services, and groundbreaking programs they need to succeed on their own—so the women can regain their independence, and their children can look forward to a brighter future. The Lead Organizer plays a key role in advancing the Public Policy and Strategy Department's mission to end family homelessness by fostering partnerships, empowering community voices, and shaping advocacy efforts. This position supports coalition-building efforts and connects Win with thought leaders in housing and homelessness policy. Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Summary: The Mobile Behavioral Health (MBH) programs at CASES provide evidence-based, community-based mental health services through Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) and Intensive Mobile Treatment (IMT) teams. These multidisciplinary teams serve adults with serious mental illness, often with co-occurring substance use disorders, histories of criminal legal involvement, and frequent use of crisis services, shelters, and hospitals. Services are highly individualized and focused on promoting recovery, wellness, and successful integration into the community. The Registered Nurse provides medication management and administration, health assessment, counseling, and psychoeducation to support participant stability and recovery. At least 80% of services are delivered in the community, in alignment with the core principles of ACT and IMT, professional nursing ethics, and regulatory standards. Shift Hours: This position is full-time Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Salary: The salary for this role is $100,940 per year.
