Job DescriptionWe are a growing practice in Edison, NJ, seeking a clinician to provide individual and family therapy for children ages 3-18. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to children, employing evidence-based CBT techniques to address a range of emotional and behavioral issues. Use creative, trauma-informed approaches (narrative work, parts work, etc.) Experience in play therapy is strongly preferred.Our Core Values: • Patient Centered, • Professional, • Team Player, • PlayfulPosition is fee-for-service, no health benefits. Pay rate is commensurate with experience and licensing level.We are in network with most insurance providers.Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.We are expanding our in-person services and seeking Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or limited permit holders.(Limited permit holders must be within 6 months of licensure for consideration.)Interested applicants must be able to see a minimum of 15 clients per week, with a gradual caseload build schedule:, • Monday to Sunday, • After school, • Evening hours, as needed, • WeekendsTo support our families well, we’re looking for someone with availability during at least:, • Two after-school blocks (3 pm to 6 pm), • One or two weekday evenings (6 pm to 8 pm), • One weekend block Saturday or Sunday (9 am to 3 pm)Benefits for Therapist, • Create a flexible schedule to fit your needs., • Allowance for CEUs on topics relevant to our client population., • Benefit from ongoing clinical support., • Use a HIPAA-compliant platform for email, fax, and EHR., • Simplify admin tasks with a dedicated admin., • Showcase your expertise on the organization’s website., • Get credentialed with insurance panels., • Access to a fully furnished office and playroomDescription of Responsibilities:, • Provides individual child psychotherapy sessions to clients, • Conduct intake interviews, screening, assessment, goal setting, progress monitoring, and advocacy, • Documents sessions employing progress notes, • Completes required documentation, including treatment plans and quarterly treatment plan reviews, • Schedule own appointments., • Self-marketing to build up caseload by networking with other local providers and the community., • Work with a multidisciplinary team, the client’s family, and other service providers as appropriate, to meet treatment goals and assure continuity of care, • Must be able to deliver services in a culturally sensitive manner., • Computer and technical skills, specifically Microsoft Office Programs and Electronic Health Records.PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONSThe physical and working demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of the job successfully.
