    Top regional law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for its Queens office. The candidate should have litigation experience from a law firm. Must be proactive and have excellent organizational, scheduling and calendaring skills. This is a fast-paced environment so ability to prioritize is a must. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of federal and state statutes, rules, and procedures pertaining to electronic court filings and systems (NYSCEF). Responsibilities include: Drafting of routine court documents such as Notices of Appearances, Pro Hac Vice Motions, Notices of Motions, Subpoenas, Stipulations and other general court documents. Compile and/or draft legal documents for review and use by attorneys such as routine discovery responses and affidavits. E-File documents via NYSCEF and PACER. Prepares exhibits and other demonstrative evidence. Organize, analyze, chart and/or index, claim information, documents and/or exhibits for motion practice. May assist attorneys in preparation of materials for witnesses for deposition and/or trial concerning general matters. Review documents for relevance and privilege in preparation for disclosure. Review, categorize and analyze reports, records, data and discovery responses. Capture and record billable time in accordance with policies and procedures. Requirements: At least 3+ years relevant experience. Excellent organizational and follow-up skills. Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive tasks. Ability to work with multiple attorneys. Ability to work with large document intensive cases. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and KOFAX Professional. Working knowledge of Lexis Advance and/or Westlaw Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.
