    Job Title: Survey CAD Technician Location: Gahanna, Ohio (On-site) Employment Type: Full-time Advanced Civil Design, Inc. is a consulting civil engineering and surveying firm, headquartered just outside Columbus in Gahanna, Ohio. ACD also has an office in Cary, North Carolina, serving the Raleigh-Durham metro area. Position Overview We are looking for a Survey CAD Technician to join our Land Survey team. Advanced Civil Design is seeking motivated and dynamic professionals to join our Gahanna, OH office. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to some of the largest and most impactful development projects in this rapidly growing region. As a Survey CAD Technician, you will play a key role as the backbone of our survey team, providing technical expertise in survey equipment, software, standards, and data reporting. We are looking for a proactive individual who is ready to take on responsibility and stay ahead of evolving technology. Key Responsibilities • Understand project scope and convey requirements to the Survey Crew., • Perform office-based tasks such as survey calculations, CAD file preparation, and reviewing deeds and title work information., • Perform survey activities including leveling, traversing, boundary surveys, topographic mapping, bathymetric surveys, and aerial surveys., • Read and interpret plans and specifications., • Prepare subdivision plats, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and construction staking plans., • Create Topographic surveys and models from the data provided from the survey field crew., • Utilize software such as Civil 3D or Carlson Survey to prepare CAD drawings., • Responsible for processing raw field data., • Checks accuracy of completed work and works with direct supervisor to ensure compliance with QA/QC program., • Provide technical expertise on surveying means and methods., • Understand state and local regulations regarding surveying standards and practices., • 3-5+ years of experience in Survey CAD projects required., • Willingness to learn and adapt, even if lacking some desired skills for the position., • Proficient in CAD drawing preparation., • Familiarity with software such as Civil 3D, Pix4D, and Carlson Survey., • Availability for overtime work., • High School Diploma or equivalent., • Preferably enrolled as a land surveyor-in-training (LSIT) for a minimum of four years, as per state statutes., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills., • Knowledge of basic math principles., • Familiar with ODOT survey standards preferred., • Good organizational skills, proven ability to manage equipment, and enjoy working in a team environment., • A current, valid, no restrictions driver’s license. Technical Skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)., • Experience with Civil3D, • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    Seeking an IT project manager to support the government healthcare against infectious diseases. Duration: through 6-30-26 with extensions beyond Work location: Hybrid (2-3 days a week onsite) Duties/skills: -Excellent communication and leadership skills both written and oral. -Strong influence, interaction & negotiation exp. -Ability to communicate with supporting resources across business and/or functional lines. -Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills. -Must meet productivity standards, complete work in timely manner and strive to increase productivity. -Defining and developing quality standards. -Conduct reviews according to schedule. -Communicate and work with customers and other personnel, as necessary. -Report progress on an action item/defect resolution & risk areas and ensure action items are addressed and closed in a timely manner based on agreed dates and activities. -Ensure that defined processes are followed. -Organize and prepare work effectively to facilitate proactive resolution of problems, rather than reactive. -Mentor and share knowledge with State staff. -Create requests for proposals for IT system contracts with the government. -Must have working exp with healthcare IT applications -Prior government department exp and the ability to create RFP requirements from the affected users. -Knowledge & understanding of the applications used for immunization registry -Familiar with the RFP process Duties: -Assist immunization program and IT in the process of drafting an RFP per government guidelines for a vendor for the Immunization Information System. -Provide feedback to project teams regarding process/procedure improvement opportunities and other potential areas for improvement discovered during project activities. -Advise teams as they gather and document requirements. -Technical leadership in identifying and documenting items needed by the project, including system architecture and platform migration. -Communicate implications of requirements as related to vendor management after contract award. -Contribute to the establishment of and meet quality goals and objectives for the project and all aspects of quality assurance for the project including establishing relevant metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met. -Review project’s required work products to ensure compliance with approved tailored procedures and standards. -Perform detailed reviews of interim and final tasks as appropriate. -An advisor regarding the evaluation process components and required documents such as SLA & Data Recovery Plans. -Use technical understanding to assist the group in seeing opportunities for growth and resource management in contract span Skill required/desired amount of experience: -IT project consulting-Public Health Management Information Systems-required-6yrs -Developing business requirements for IT systems-required-6yrs. -IT project leadership-required-6yrs -Vendor management-required-6yrs
