ABOUT THE JOB We are looking for a Quality Manager to join the Corporate PMC Team in our Bilbao, Madrid or Barcelona offices. The Quality Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, and assuring consistent quality management systems and practices across the Global Corporate PMC and project portfolio. The role ensures that projects are delivered in compliance with contractual, regulatory, and corporate quality requirements, including resourcing of project-specific professionals in the quality management domain, enabling right‑first‑time execution and predictable handover of the PMC services to the Clients Operating in a corporate team, this role provides governance, oversight, and expert support to PMC project teams. Key responsabilities: • Quality Governance & Management Systems: Establish and maintain the Corporate Project Quality Management Framework aligned with ISO 9001, ensuring quality plans and standards are embedded contractually and applied consistently across the project lifecycle, while supporting gate reviews, audits, and continuous improvement., • Resourcing: Lead the external resourcing of project‑specific quality professionals to ensure timely and effective staffing for new and ongoing projects., • Engineering & Design Quality: Oversee design quality controls, verification and validation processes, interdisciplinary reviews, deviation and change management, and configuration/document control to ensure compliance with codes and standards., • Procurement & Vendor Quality: Define and manage vendor quality requirements, inspection plans, and acceptance criteria; participate in vendor qualification and assessments; oversee FATs/SATs, inspections, non‑conformances, and corrective actions., • Construction Quality: Ensure effective implementation of field quality controls and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), lead surveillance and audits, manage NCRs and concessions, and drive rework reduction through root‑cause analysis and preventive actions., • Commissioning & Handover Quality: Coordinate quality requirements during system completion and commissioning, ensuring test procedures and documentation meet contractual and operational needs, verifying turnover dossier integrity, and supporting quality close‑out and operations acceptance., • Audits, Assurance & Continuous Improvement: Plan and execute internal and external quality audits, track corrective and preventive actions, lead continuous improvement and lessons‑learned initiatives, and benchmark performance against industry standards., • Reporting & Performance Management: Define and track global quality KPIs, produce monthly and executive‑level reporting highlighting trends and risks, and support claims prevention through accurate and auditable quality records., • Stakeholder & Interface Management: Act as the primary quality interface with EPCs, contractors, vendors, and third‑party inspectors, partnering with engineering, construction, commissioning, HSE, and project controls teams while building quality capability across project teams.
