Key Responsabilities We are looking for a talented and motivated Scientist/Senior Scientist to join our team. The selected candidate will lead the antibody development and validation for our photonic immunoassay platform. We seek someone eager to grow professionally, with experience in antibody production, characterization, and immunoassays, and strong organizational skills. This role offers an opportunity to make a real impact and advance within an agile, science-driven start-up. Your responsibilities include: • Being responsible of performing experiment focus on the antibody development from start to finish (immunization – hybridoma screening – antibody engineering – antibody production)., • Express different antibody formats using mammalian expression systems., • Purify expressed proteins using a range of chromatography techniques., • Characterize and perform quality control of purified antibodies molecules using biochemical and biophysical methods (e.g. SDS-PAGE, CE-SDS)., • Design and generate DNA constructs using a variety of cloning strategies., • This is a wet lab position and it is expected for you to directly perform the above-mentioned tasks., • Analyze, interpret, and clearly communicate experimental data, both verbally and in written reports., • Support the Immunochemistry team in antibody testing and contribute to day-to-day lab operations (e.g. maintenance of instruments, preparation of SOPs and risk assessments)., • Maintain accurate and timely records of all work in laboratory notebooks, in accordance with company procedures., • Collaborate cross-functionally with the different departments (Chemistry, engineering and photonics) to ensure successful selection, implementation and execution of translational research and clinically relevant biomarker assays and plans., • Being a proactive player in writing scientific publications and grants. Required Skills • PhD in Life Science, Molecular Biology, Immunology or related fields., • 2+ years of experience in antibody/chimeric protein development, with strong understanding of antibody engineering and scale-up production, • In-depth understanding and hands-on research experience of molecular biology and cellular biology techniques, including DNA cloning and mammalian cell culture., • Hands-on experience with in-vivo models (mice, rabbits). Preferred Skills • Experience in biochemical immunoassays (e.g. ELISA, SPR, RIA, CLIA), • Hands-on experience with flow cytometry & FACS., • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific data into actionable insights., • Fluent in English (spoken and written) Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
