The position will be responsible for evolving the global governance operating model, ensuring data standards are embedded by design into the enterprise Lakehouse architecture, and coordinating governance practices across multiple countries. /p pYou will act as a key bridge between Business Domains, Data Engineering, and Architecture, ensuring that governance principles, regulatory requirements, and data quality standards are consistently applied across the global ecosystem. /p pThis is not a pure engineering role, but a governance leadership position with architectural oversight and technical depth. /p h3What you’ll do /h3 pLead and evolve Getnet Global’s data governance and data platform capabilities to enable trusted, scalable, and business‑driven data products across all countries and global teams, supporting regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and advanced analytics/AI use cases. /p pLooking for a Data Governance Data Platform Manager with strong team‑leadership experience and a strategic vision for data, responsible for driving data governance, data quality, and the enterprise data platform. This role will lead multidisciplinary teams—both technical and functional—and coordinate data ingestion and standardization initiatives across multiple countries, ensuring their integration within the Lakehouse ecosystem. /p pThe position requires a balanced combination of leadership, technical expertise, and management skills in Agile environments, as well as a strong focus on structured documentation in Jira and Confluence. /p ul liLead and develop multidisciplinary teams (Data Governance, Data Engineering, Data Platform) in an Agile environment. /li liDefine clear objectives, assign responsibilities, and ensure efficient and coordinated execution in a multi‑country context. /li liFoster a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, and ownership within the team. /li liOversee task prioritization, resource allocation, and the resolution of blockers. /li liDrive team maturity in Agile practices, ensuring consistency in Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement. /li /ul h3Data Governance /h3 ul liDesign and lead the implementation of the data governance strategy, including data quality, lineage, metadata, security, and standardized data models. /li liSupervise the use and operations of data‑governance tools (cataloging, quality, lineage, MDM) and their integration with automated, AI‑based models. /li liEnsure comprehensive documentation of architecture, processes, decisions, and standards. /li liSupport regulatory and audit requirements related to data management and traceability. /li liDefine and evolve the global data operating model (roles, responsibilities, data ownership, stewardship model). /li liEstablish governance forums and decision‑making bodies (Data Council, Domain Data Owners, etc.). /li liEnsure alignment with Group data policies and regulatory frameworks. /li /ul h3Data Platform /h3 ul liDefine and track KPIs for data quality, platform adoption, and data value realization. /li liOversee the integration and evolution of the Data Lake/Datamart using technologies such as Databricks, Unity Catalog, etc. /li liCoordinate data ingestion from multiple countries, ensuring harmonization and compliance with corporate standards. /li liEnsure traceability, integrity, and full documentation of the data lifecycle. /li /ul h3Agile Methodology, Documentation Tools /h3 ul liLead Scrum operations across teams: planning, refinements, progress tracking, and retrospectives. /li liEnsure comprehensive and up‑to‑date documentation in Jira, including epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and task workflows. /li liMaintain solid Confluence documentation, covering architecture, processes, integrations, standards, and key decisions. /li liEnsure proper integration of Agile practices into the global data strategy. /li /ul h3Business Stakeholder Alignment /h3 ul liAct as the bridge between data platform capabilities and business domains (Risk, Finance, Operations, CRM and data product teams globally and locally). /li liPromote a data‑as‑a‑product mindset across countries and domains. /li /ul h3Education /h3 pDegree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, or equivalent. /p h3Experience /h3 ul li8–10 years of experience in data‑related roles within the Santander Group, leading both technical and functional teams.
