GBSB Global Business School is looking for a Reception & Facilities Support Officer to join our Barcelona campus. This role combines front-desk duties with practical, hands-on support in facilities and housekeeping coordination. It is an essential operational position that ensures our campus stays clean, organized, and welcoming every day. This is a full-time role of 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a fixed schedule from 14:00 to 21:30. Contract type: Fijo-discontinuo, as the campus closes during the summer period. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy a variety of tasks, are comfortable with hands-on work, and want to grow within an international, English-speaking academic environment. Main Responsibilities Reception and Student Support Act as the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors. Answer phone calls, receive and distribute parcels, and maintain front-desk records. Prepare and update administrative materials: attendance sheets, class lists, Classlife registrations, and justifications. Ensure classrooms are tidy, organized, and ready before and after sessions. Facilities and Housekeeping Support Coordinate and oversee the daily work of the cleaning team to keep classrooms, offices, and common areas in excellent condition. Assist in basic maintenance tasks and report facility issues promptly. Oversee external service providers for repairs and maintenance. Maintain inventory of cleaning and facility supplies, placing orders when needed. Help prepare spaces for events, examinations, and administrative activities. Provide hands-on support when required, including tidying, organizing, laundry tasks, or light physical work. What We’re Looking For 1–2 years of experience in reception, administration, housekeeping, facilities, or similar roles. Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality (including hotel roles) is a strong plus. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a hands-on attitude. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, service-oriented approach. High level of spoken and written English and Spanish is required. Solid IT skills (Microsoft Office; familiarity with LMS/VLE platforms is a plus). Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
