Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island. Reports to: Director of PR & Marketing The Food & Beverage Marketing Manager leads marketing for Restaurants & Bars and ancillary F & B areas, driving visibility, internal/external guest engagement and revenue growth. The Manager develops and executes campaigns and promotions in partnership with F & B Operations, that elevate outlet positioning and support commercial targets, and oversees agency and partner deliverables to ensure integrated PR and marketing efforts support property priorities. In conjugation with the Commercial Director, Director of PR & Marketing, and Director of F & B, the Food & Beverage Marketing Manager plays an integral role in the development and execution of the annual strategic commercial plan comprised of public relations, social media, and marketing communications strategies that support the business objectives. Through strategic thinking and execution, the Manager increases awareness and visibility of the outlets and their food and beverage offerings and team, contributing to driving traffic and revenues. The role may also involve the SPA marketing strategy, creating and executing marketing and promotional strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones. Simultaneously, the F & B Marketing Manager acts as a ‘guardian’ of the conceptual and visual identity of the relevant outlets. • Rollout property initiatives to ensure adoption and success, • Coordinate F & B participation in corporate global campaigns, • Develop annual F & B marketing strategy and action plan (per FS Guidelines), co‑develop and execute business goals, • Design and implement innovative programs that increase awareness of F & B, its offerings and dynamic team, • Support review of outlet positioning, marketing plans, promotional calendars and KPI tracking, • Lead Weekly F & B Marketing Meeting, • Liase with Digital Marketing team on F & B’s digital strategy and ensure marketing funds are distributed accordingly., • Lead in F & B digital marketing including but not limited to PPC, SEO/SEM, analytics and digital advertising and e‑commerce (as needed) to ensure messaging and creative is aligned across all activities, • Work in conjunction with Social Media team on F & B’s social strategy to ensure creation of content for all F & B social media accounts including ideas, execution, agency management, scheduling., • Lead creatives and briefing of campaigns & strategy with Social Media team for F & B social media channels, • Liaise with PR team to ensure proprietary F & B websites are aligned with the F & B’s positioning and business objectives and creative storytelling, • Oversee R & B online reputation management by monitoring and ensuring appropriate management of third‑party review sites, • Lead creation of Press Releases (brief to copywriters) for PR agencies, • Liaise with the PR team to plan, develop the public relations strategy for the F & B outlets, such as management and follow‑up with PR agency, organizing events, one‑on‑one interviews with media, KOLs and key accounts that are potential for the F & B outlets, • Supervise the overall storytelling and communication strategy for the culinary and social segment: website, online platforms, collateral marketing, • Lead and oversee any F & B related photo‑ and videoshoots to ensure all R & B visual assets are in line with the FS brand standards, • Maintain Hotel’s image library and video banks with related R & B content, and obtain all signed usage rights as needed, • Develop and preserve brand, visual identity and concept in all elements of the marketing process, • Project‑manage each collateral item, including negotiation of costs, a production timeline and the editing of each draft, ensuring final artwork is signed off by all required signees prior to distribution, • Create culinary and social experiences such as seasonal events and happenings to foster revenue opportunities through customer insights and with F & B team., • Build and maintain a close relationship with events intermediaries, organizing happenings that lead to strategic alliances and sales opportunities. Develop collaboration/sponsorship opportunities, • Lead marketing planning for partnerships for outlets with key luxury brands., • Lead Events organization in/out of the hotel together with Catering/F & B Team, • Set and control F & B Marketing Budget and Expenses and be responsible for updating Commercial Director and Director of PR & Marketing about expenses for forecast purposes, • Work closely with the Commercial Director, Director of PR & Marketing, F & B Director, Restaurant Managers and Executive Chef to develop strategic annual marketing plans including promotional and marketing activities and calendars to feed relevant owned communication channels to stimulate revenue opportunities, • Track ROI and present monthly results of marketing efforts (PR, activities & events) and expenses on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, • Responsible for processing relevant invoices and purchase orders, and maintaining operational expenses for monthly expense management, • Maintain positive client and media relations, develop and build strong connection with local/global press and journalists along side the PR team., • Play a key role in reputation management, acting as a strategic communications advisor to management by keeping track of public attitudes, developing key messages and managing potential issues and organizing responses in conjunction with PR., • Participate in local R & B community and industry events, • Attend internal meetings for F & B and be actively involved in maintaining communication and promotional calendars.
