Role Description The Director of Revenue Strategy is a full-time, on-site role based at Hilton Barcelona in the Greater Barcelona Metropolitan Area. This role leads the hotel’s total revenue strategy, optimizing room, meetings and events, and ancillary revenues through data-driven pricing, inventory management, and distribution decisions. Responsibilities include analyzing market trends, competitor performance, and demand patterns; developing forecasts and budgets; and setting dynamic pricing strategies across all channels. The Director of Revenue Strategy collaborates closely with General Manager, Corporate commercial team, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align commercial plans, maximize profitability, and support long-term growth. The role also oversees revenue reporting, performance reviews, and continuous improvement of systems and processes, while coaching and developing the revenue, Reservations and Conference & Events teams. Qualifications • Proven expertise in revenue management, including pricing optimization, inventory control, and forecasting for hotels or multi-outlet properties., • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, market trends, and performance metrics to inform strategy., • Experience with hotel revenue systems, channel managers, CRS/PMS, and online distribution platforms; proficiency with Excel and reporting tools., • Commercial acumen in sales, marketing, and distribution, with a solid understanding of digital channels, OTA partnerships, and corporate/Group segments., • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Operations., • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to influence stakeholders and explain revenue strategies to non-technical audiences., • Background in hospitality, hotel management, business, economics, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is strongly preferred., • Prior experience in an international hotel brand or urban, meetings-focused property is highly desirable; familiarity with the Barcelona or Mediterranean market is a plus., • Fluency in English and Soanish is required. Catalan will be valued.
