This position will be fully dedicated to one of the fund’s active buy-and-build platforms in the industrial services sector, which has already become one of the leading groups in its space. Role Overview The Private Equity M&A Specialist will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and executing acquisition opportunities within the platform’s buy-and-build strategy. Working closely with senior investment professionals and portfolio company leadership, the Specialist will support all phases of the transaction process — from origination and valuation to due diligence and integration. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a fast-growing private equity platform, gaining hands-on experience in deal execution, portfolio management, and strategic growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Identify, map, and prioritise potential acquisition targets aligned with the investment thesis, • Conduct financial and operational analyses, including valuation models and investment memoranda, • Engage directly with business owners, advisors, and management teams to originate proprietary deal flow, • Support due diligence processes, coordinating financial, legal, and operational workstreams, • Assist in post-acquisition integration, performance tracking, and portfolio development initiatives, • Strong academic background, ideally in finance, economics, engineering, or business from a leading university in Northern Spain, • Proficiency in financial modelling, valuation, and analysis (LBOs, DCFs, comparables), • Fluency in Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Commercial mindset and confidence engaging directly with company founders and executives, • Self-starter with a hands-on attitude and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment This position offers a rare opportunity to develop a full investment skillset within a high-performing private equity platform, contributing directly to the creation of Spain’s next generation of market leaders.
