Join our dynamic European team! We are looking for a Legal Counsel with 5–8 years of experience to support our expanding European operations. The role focuses on procurement and commercial contracts, general corporate legal support, and cross-border coordination with Group headquarters in China. This is a hands-on in-house position in a fast-growing renewable energy sector, working closely with procurement, business and other cross functional teams. Key responsibilities • Provide proactive, business-oriented legal support to the company’s operations and commercial activities in Europe with a focus in Spain, working closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, engineering, project development, operations, sales, and management., • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of procurement agreements, including EPC contracts; construction contracts, equipment and component procurement, warehouse service, logistics, transportation and services contracts., • Draft and negotiate commercial contracts such as sales, service, distribution, cooperation, and NDA arrangements with a focus on supporting the Spanish market., • Advise internal stakeholders on Spanish law matters relating to commercial contracts, construction projects, procurement activities, and day-to-day business operations., • Identify legal and contractual risks and provide pragmatic solutions to support project execution and business growth while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies., • Support the development and continuous improvement to contracts and internal legal processes, assist with internal compliance initiatives and projects., • Assist with internal compliance initiatives, corporate governance matters, and other legal projects to ensure alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. What we’re looking for • 5–8 years of post-qualification legal experience (in-house and/or reputable law firm), • Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex EPC, construction, procurement, supply, and other commercial agreements, ideally in an industrial, infrastructure, or energy-related environment., • Solid knowledge of Spanish and broader European commercial contracting practices, with exposure to construction law and contract dispute management considered a strong advantage., • Experience supporting large-scale industrial projects, manufacturing operations, renewable energy, (BESS), or energy infrastructure projects is highly desirable., • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multicultural and cross-border teams., • Commercial, pragmatic, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, international environment., • Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented, high professional integrity and sense of ownership., • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; Spanish language capability and familiarity with the Spanish legal and business environment are highly preferred.
