The Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) seeks a Site Supervisor to oversee and train work crews of 5‑10 individuals in public beautification projects. The role requires leadership, safety oversight, coaching, and management of daily work schedules to help participants build skills and secure employment. Responsibilities • Lead a work crew in public beautification projects such as litter abatement, landscaping, and other community improvement projects., • Comply with company time and attendance processes, ensuring accurate recording of work time, rest breaks, and meal periods for participants and reviewing & approving time records daily., • Ensure customers’ work orders are completed to a high standard each day., • Establish and maintain positive staff morale by modeling sound leadership and teamwork., • Assign job duties to crew members and set reasonable goals for completion., • Monitor crew performance and productivity, providing feedback and additional training as needed., • Maintain line of sight of all participants at all times., • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and legal regulations, and reporting any matters that threaten crew operations to your supervisor., • Complete any necessary daily reporting tasks., • Assume special projects and related duties as assigned. Qualifications • Strong organizational skills with the ability to delegate, prioritize, and manage team time effectively under pressure., • Excellent communication skills and the ability to resolve conflicts with individuals from diverse backgrounds., • Proven track record of leading teams to achieve success., • Mechanically inclined and capable of diagnosing equipment issues and proposing solutions., • Deep passion for social justice and commitment to the mission of CEO., • Respectful, fair, and patient demeanor., • Belief in hard work, efficient customer service, teamwork, and collaboration to drive results., • Compassion toward team members while maintaining a straightforward leadership approach., • Ability to provide 1:1 support to crew members who need encouragement. Nitty Gritty Qualifications • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record., • Physical ability to consistently lift and move objects up to 75 pounds, stand, kneel, bend, climb, and work outdoors for extended periods., • Experience driving a 12‑passenger van with an attached trailer., • Operational proficiency with a smartphone., • Previous safety training is preferable; training will be provided. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is $29.50 per hour.
