Overview Reporting to the Corporate HR Director based in Paris, the HR Business Partner is responsible for overseeing a population of approximately 100 employees at Headquarters. The role involves designing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with and support the company’s overall strategic objectives. Acting as a true partner to internal and external stakeholders, the HRBP works closely with business leaders to understand strategic goals, assess organizational needs, and provide expert guidance and solutions. Key areas of focus include talent development and management, performance and budget planning, compensation and benefits, HR processes, and employee engagement. The HRBP is responsible for delivering a comprehensive HR plan and ensuring the provision of a high-quality, customer-focused HR service. As both a strategic and operational partner, the HRBP plays a critical role in fostering a positive employee experience and managing the full employee lifecycle. Responsibilities Include Generalist HR – Operations & Legal • Acts as a business partner to provide HR guidance and be an advisor, support on each employee relations matters, • Identify any issues related to compliance, determine root causes, and suggest corrective action, • Provide advice and direction on CL policies and procedures,, • Prepare the annual Payroll budget, R1 and R2 and following up on a monthly basis, • Support the annual salaries review cycle for his/her perimeter, • Lead and manage HR matters on a day-to-day basis, • Monitor and report his/her activity to the Corporate HRD, • Implement high level confidentiality protocols with regards to all employee information, • As a member of the HR team, sharing best practice and expertise with his/her peers. Talent Acquisition • Build a talent pipeline of suitable candidates to remain connected with for opportunities, • Support CL employer brand and leverage to attract talent ensuring a consistent, appropriate and engaging voice, • Provide an end to end recruitment service utilizing a variety of methodologies and sources (recognize vacancies, anticipate, create new job desc where required, screen applications, conduct interviews & detailed reference checks, respond in a timely and professional manner to candidates), • Build recruitment capability of people managers through selection skills workshop and ongoing coaching, • Manage good and loyal vendor relationships (agencies…), • Work with the other HR team members to leverage and share methodologies and initiatives, • Establish and maintain effective networks to keep abreast of industry trends and initiatives, • Deliver induction and onboarding programs with the HR team, • Communicate effectively with line managers to understand and define people requirements Performance Management • Ensure smooth execution of the annual performance management experience and to follow through on key developmental discussions, • Coach line managers in carrying out performance management as required, • Provide ongoing guidance and support on behavioral management, including disciplinary actions when necessary., • Facilitate the resolution of employee relations issues through objective investigations in close partnership with business leaders and legal counsel. Learning & Development • Work with the HR team to implement consistently programs and materials, • Review development needs of his/her perimeter and identify areas for focus through research, consultations and analysis, • Work with the HR team to support managers with creating development plans that deliver business growth and development for staff, • Drive talent management, development, retention, and succession planning initiatives., • Foster employee engagement and create an exceptional employee experience, • Work closely with the HR team to identify and source relevant training to build the capability of consultants and managers Culture • Assist with translating CL values in selection criteria, • Work closely with all managers and key people to ensure that they embody the culture as defined, and set an appropriate example, • Assist in maintain harmonious workplace relationship by openly and effectively communicating with the HR team and any other employee, • Work in cooperative manner with the HR team Organizational design • Support the Corporate HRD in providing organizational design advice to the business to ensure CL is efficiently and effectively operating and managing its resources HR projects • Participate/manage specific projects or Group Projects as determined by the Corporate HRD and participate in functional and cross functional initiatives (including CSR, D&I, …) Skills and Requirements • Relevant experience in a leadership role within HR (min 5/7 years in a generalist role), • Good knowledge and practice legal compliance, employee relations (French regulations), • Ability to multitask and manage growth, • Positive and open-minded approach and ability to engage and develop relationships both internally and externally, • Ability to take initiatives and solution oriented – Autonomy, • Lead, coach and develop a strong business HR partnering team, • Adaptability, flexibility & Pragmatism, • Strong Interpersonal skills, • Structured and organized, • Integrity, Confidentiality, Humility, loyalty, respect, • French & English is a must, and any other language is welcome such as Italian Our business and our Values: Christian Louboutin opened his first boutique in Paris in 1992.
