Job Title: Performance Test Engineer Job Type: Contract/Freelance Location: Strasbourg Hybrid (80% or 50% onsite in Strasbourg - Your choice) We are actively looking for a Performance Test Engineer experience to join a long term project at a government agency working for an European Institution The candidate will have experience in the following fields: • Good Hands-on knowledge on performance test tool JMeter, • Experience with the entire software lifecycle - requirements capture, analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance, deployment, and maintenance, • Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Work Load Design, Test Cases Design, Test Platform Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Configuration Management, • Capacity in writing documents Tasks will include: • Handle the performance testing support activities as required, • Develop a strategy for end-to-end performance testing of the software and hardware systems specified in this tender, • Draft the performance test plan and update the test plan for review to manager/leader, • Execute the various performance tests including Load test, stress test, endurance test, capacity test, • Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problem in the application, • Enable other QA engineers and developers in running performance tests, • Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability and scalability The daily rate before tax for remote and onsite are below: Onsite rate = €450.00 Remote rate = €350.00 *** This role can be based 50% of the year in Strasbourg paying €450 and 50% of the year working remote paying €300 Would you prefer to the 80% or 50% onsite option?
