Key Responsibilities • Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, communal areas and other designated areas to a high standard., • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting floors and surfaces., • Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely and appropriately., • Cleaning and sanitising high-touch areas and frequently used facilities., • Replenishing cleaning materials and reporting low stock when required., • Following school cleaning schedules, health and safety procedures and COSHH guidelines., • Reporting maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns to the appropriate person., • Ensuring cleaning equipment and products are stored safely after use., • Working professionally and respectfully around pupils, teachers, support staff and visitors., • Maintaining consistently high standards of cleanliness throughout the school. About You The successful candidate will be reliable, punctual and hardworking, with a positive attitude and good attention to detail. Previous cleaning experience is desirable, particularly within a school, educational or commercial environment, although training may be provided for the right candidate. You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, while following instructions and established cleaning procedures.
