\n NOC Engineer\n \n Job Description\n NOC Engineer (Network Operation Centre Engineer) \n Full Time, Permanent \n 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday (9:00am-5:30pm) \n SC Clearance Eligibility REQUIRED \n Farnborough Business Park (GU14 7JP) Office based role \n Telent are looking to hire a NOC Engineer to join the Network Operations Centre team in Farnborough. If you are someone who has a keen interest in Network Monitoring, Network Troubleshoot & Fix, and are looking to learn and develop your career further, then this is the right role for you! \n The NOC Engineer role will support a 24/7 Network Operations Centre, however, this work pattern is based on Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week (9:00am start, 5:30pm finish). The NOC Engineer role is based at our new Telent Camberley office (Farnborough Business Park, GU14 7JP) with a potential future opportunity to work from home 1 day per week. \n NOC Engineer - What youll do: \n \n • Provide remote technical support for the Network Services customer base, including troubleshooting, diagnosis, and data analysis of Network Infrastructure.\n, • Offer clear and concise communication (both verbal and written), ensuring updates are understandable for all technical levels.\n, • Support Telents change management process and adhere to organizational policies, prioritizing incidents based on customer business needs and operational impact.\n, • Take technical ownership of all Telent incidents to ensure customer satisfaction, including case management and data collection.\n, • Notify customers and third parties of technical issues, outages, and remediation statuses.\n, • Develop trend analysis and root cause analysis to support Incident and Problem Management processes.\n, • Review performance reports to identify trends and assist the Problem Management Process in improving future issue resolution.\n, • Possess some relevant NOC Engineering experience or similar experience of troubleshooting and fixing Networks related problems\n, • We are also open to applications from anyone with experience within an IT Service Desk Analyst / Service Desk Engineer role or a similar troubleshoot and fix / triage background\n, • CompTIA A+ certification (preferred)\n, • CompTIA Network+ (desirable but not essential)\n, • CCNA or JNCIA (desirable but not essential)\n, • CCT / CCST Cisco (desirable but not essential)\n, • CompTIA ITF+ (desirable but not essential)\n, • Possess a willingness to learn and develop\n, • Adaptable to changing situations and able to prioritize workload / urgency of tasks\n, • Respect others and the process, and able to work well in a team environment\n, • Uncapped overtime when available\n, • 26 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, and the option to purchase or sell annual leave days each year\n, • Company matched pension scheme\n, • Growth and development opportunities\n, • A range of family friendly policies via the Telent Flexible Benefits platform\n, • Occupational health support and wellbeing Portal\n, • Be Inclusive\n, • Take Responsibility\n, • Collaborate\n, • Be Customer-focused\n \n #LI-Onsite \n #TJ-Onsite \n \n
