The Westminster Diocesan Justice and Peace Commission exists to promote action and reflection on peace and social justice in the Diocese of Westminster, in the light of the Gospel and Catholic Social Teaching. We are now looking for a Justice & Peace Co-ordinator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm, 35 hours per week. The Role As our Justice & Peace Co-ordinator, you will support our Justice and Peace Commission and strengthen justice-focused activity across parishes, schools, and communities. Working closely with the Auxiliary Bishop and the Commission Chair, youll help shape vision, strategy, and advocacy priorities, ensuring the Commissions decisions are implemented and communicated across the diocese. Youll recruit and support a network of Justice and Peace Contacts to facilitate the creation of parish and school groups, and raise awareness of issues ranging from local inequality to global injustice. Supporting Laudato Si initiatives, youll also represent us at events, and manage communications such as newsletters and diocesan updates, ensuring justice and peace activities remain visible, connected, and impactful. Additionally, you will: • Provide secretariat support to the Justice and Peace Commission - Offer guidance and liaison for parishes, chaplaincies, and schools About You To be considered as a Justice & Peace Co-ordinator, you will need: • Experience in at least one of the following: Catechetical/pastoral ministry, community development, social work, volunteer management, or youth work - Experience in campaigning or advocacy on justice, peace, and life issues - Good project and people management skills The closing date for this role is Monday 9th February 2026 at 12 noon.
