We are recruiting for a Management Accountant in Whitstable. You will be responsible for producing accurate management accounts, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and helping to develop financial systems and processes within a growing organisation. About the role • Prepare monthly management accounts including variance analysis and commentary., • Support the monthly close process ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting., • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts., • Analyse financial performance and provide insights to support business decision-making., • Produce management reports and financial dashboards for senior management., • Support the Director of Finance in developing financial systems, reporting processes, and internal controls., • Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial planning., • Support the preparation of year-end accounts and audit requirements., • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies., • Work closely with operational teams to provide financial analysis and cost control support., • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and automation within finance processes. About you • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA). • Proven experience preparing management accounts., • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning., • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills., • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modelling)., • Strong attention to detail and analytical ability., • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills., • Ability to work both independently and as part of a finance team., • You will have the right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available) as well as a full UK driving licence What's on offer for the Management Accountant? • Salary of £50,000, • 37.5 hours per week - Mon to Fri 9am - 5pm (office based), • 25 days AL plus the bank holiday and a day off on your birthday., • Enhanced sick pay., • Employee Assistance Programme., • Free DBS., • Pension contributions., • Frequent social events., • Access to discounts on goods and services offered by third parties.
