The Finance Accounting Specialist is responsible for supporting the local and statutory reporting requirements of Leasys UK Ltd. The role involves managing data from multiple core applications, balance sheet control, and maintaining strong systems knowledge. The postholder will also liaise with Group Finance, Compliance, Internal Audit, ICT, and the external audit team. Enhancing financial controls Job Deliverables • Manage the month-end close process through to first review stage, ensuring all relevant journals, reconciliations, supporting schedules, and reporting outputs are completed accurately and on time, with issues identified, investigated, and resolved promptly., • Manage the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process, ensuring timely completion, resolution of queries, and associated quarterly reporting., • Support the Accounts Payable function with key supplier accounts., • Support the Accounts Receivable function, particularly with allocation and reconciliation of key remarketing/buyback customer accounts., • Support intercompany and related party reporting by ensuring full monthly reconciliation and confirmation of all balances., • Liaise with the Treasury Department in relation to intercompany loans and derivatives reporting., • Prepare ad hoc financial reports and management information as required., • Support external/internal audit as required, liaise with external tax advisors., • Drive process improvement initiatives within the Finance team and across the wider Leasys business where appropriate, identifying opportunities for improvement and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver them., • Continually develop and apply systems knowledge, particularly in Miles and Dataflow GL/P2P applications, to support the Finance team and broader business., • Carry out any other ad hoc duties as required by management. Necessary actions to achieve deliverables • Complete reconciliations accurately and on time, • Resolve queries and outstanding items promptly, • Maintain accurate financial records across systems, • Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders, • Ensure compliance with controls, policies, and deadlines Challenges • Balancing multiple priorities while meeting tight reporting deadlines with accuracy., • Investigating and resolving complex reconciliation and reporting issues., • Building effective working relationships across functions., • Supporting change and continuous improvement in a dynamic business environment. Required Knowledge and Skills Education level, professional qualifications, vocational training: • Qualified, finalist CIMA/ACA/ACCA, • At least 5 years’ experience in a relevant Finance/Accountancy role, ideally worked in leasing fleet industry, • Experience with Miles, Dataflow GL/P2P preferred, • Strong Excel/computer literacy Required experience: • Accrual/prepayment month end closing, • Debtor/creditors reconciliation, • Balance sheet reconciliation Technical Skills and Personal characteristics: • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, • Confident dealing with challenging conversations, • Highly organised, proactive, resilient, • Strong communication and negotiation skills Stellantis is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
