Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in home care environments. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements Administer medication following prescribed guidelines and document accurately Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental wellbeing Manage behavioural challenges with patience and effective behaviour management techniques Support with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe environment Drive clients to appointments or outings as required (driving licence preferred) Monitor health status and report any concerns promptly to healthcare professionals Follow health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when needed Qualifications Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings is desirable Knowledge of patient care practices, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, hospice care, and senior care is advantageous Certification or training in first aid is preferred Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach towards clients of all ages Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform physically demanding tasks Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage behavioural challenges effectively Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving transportation of clients Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals while developing your skills within the caring profession.
