Trusts & Foundations Officer \n Location: Remote Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour Hours: Approximately 18 hours per week Duration: Approximately 2 months Contract: Temporary \n Make a Difference Through Funding and Community Impact \n Are you an experienced fundraiser, bid writer or charity professional looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity? \n We are recruiting for a Trusts & Foundations Officer to join a fundraising team on a temporary basis for approximately 2 months. This role will focus on identifying funding opportunities, developing grant applications and helping to secure vital funding that supports important community services. \n Working remotely as part of a collaborative team, you will play a key role in developing grant income, maintaining relationships with funding bodies and supporting wider fundraising objectives. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Research and identify new grant funding opportunities from trusts, foundations and other funding bodies.\n, • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective funders.\n, • Write compelling funding applications, grant bids and tailored funding proposals.\n, • Manage relationships with existing funders and help secure ongoing and multi-year funding opportunities.\n, • Prepare and submit reports in line with funder requirements.\n, • Work alongside marketing and communications teams to promote fundraising successes and project impact.\n, • Maintain accurate records of fundraising activity and grants.\n, • Act as an ambassador for the organisation and its services.\n, • Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations, industry standards and best practice.\n, • Support the achievement of wider fundraising objectives.\n\n Skills & Experience Required \n The successful candidate will ideally have: \n\n • Experience within fundraising, grant funding, bid writing or a similar role.\n, • Experience working within a charity or not-for-profit environment.\n, • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality funding applications and reports.\n, • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.\n, • Experience producing reports, maintaining records and working towards targets.\n, • Excellent organisational and project management abilities.\n, • Strong customer service and communication skills.\n, • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.\n, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and virtual meeting platforms.\n, • An understanding of fundraising regulations and data protection principles.\n\n Desirable \n\n • Experience engaging communities, volunteers or supporters.\n, • Knowledge of end-of-life care services and the challenges faced by patients and families.\n, • Experience motivating and inspiring stakeholders, volunteers or colleagues.\n\n What's on Offer? \n\n • Fully remote working.\n, • Flexible part-time hours (approximately 18 hours per week).\n, • Temporary assignment for approximately 2 months.\n, • Competitive pay rate of £16.00 per hour.\n, • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the charity sector.\n, • Supportive and collaborative working environment.\n\n If you have experience in fundraising, bid writing, grant applications, stakeholder engagement or charity administration, we'd love to hear from you. \n
