The Role: Where Strategy Meets Execution At HydraB, our people strategy is taking off. Our leadership team are crafting the roadmap for a world-class Compensation & Benefits framework. Now, we need a brilliant implementer to bring it to life. This is a newly created role for a hands-on Reward expert who loves data, details, and delivery. You won’t be writing the high-level strategy, but you will be the critical force that translates it into reality. If you get a buzz from building robust Excel models, perfecting processes, and managing key relationships, you’ll thrive here. Your Key Responsibilities: • Implementation Partner: Work closely with the Group Head of People and HR Director to execute the new compensation strategy, including rolling out salary bands, levelling frameworks, and bonus structures across the business., • The Go-To Analyst: Develop and maintain complex Excel models to analyse the financial impact of comp proposals, bonus accruals, benefits changes, and pay review budgets. Your analysis will be key for leadership decision-making., • Benefits & Provider Maestro: Act as the primary owner for all benefits providers (e.g., pension, private medical, insurance). Manage renewals, negotiate terms, ensure a seamless employee experience, and be the internal expert for all benefits queries., • Data & Systems Integrity: Own the data integrity for all compensation and benefits information. Manage the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) for C&B modules and ensure accuracy across all platforms., • Process Excellence: Design and document efficient processes for the annual compensation review cycle, promotions, and new hire offers, ensuring fairness, consistency, and transparency., • Market Insight: Conduct benchmarking using tools like Radford or Aon to ensure our packages remain competitive, providing data-backed insights to the people leadership team., • Stakeholder Support: Be a trusted resource for the People Partners and managers, providing them with the data and guidance they need to make confident comp & ben decisions. What We're Looking For (Experience & Skills): We need a pragmatic, analytical, and exceptionally organised doer. • Proven Experience: You have hands-on experience in a Compensation & Benefits/Rewards role, within a fast-paced environment., • Excel Whizz: You live and breathe Excel. Advanced skills are non-negotiable – you’re highly proficient in complex formulas, pivot tables, data modelling, and scenario analysis., • Relationship Manager: You have experience managing third-party providers, building strong relationships, and holding them accountable to service level agreements., • Data-Driven Mindset: You believe that data tells the real story and you use it to inform your work, spot trends, and make recommendations., • Proactive & Collaborative: You are a self-starter who can manage their own workload but also collaborates brilliantly with the wider people team and the business.
