We can flex to the needs of every individual. The Role As a Data & AI Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we use data to improve performance across our pubs. You’ll report into the Head of Strategy and Finance. From analysing sales and customer behaviour to supporting marketing campaigns and operational planning, you’ll be the go-to person for turning numbers into narratives that inform strategy and action. With an eye on the future you will look to implement AI capabilities into current systems to analyse data, support efficiencies and improve operations. Key Responsibilities will include: • Sales & Performance Analysis: Analyse daily, weekly, and seasonal sales trends across wet and dry categories, identifying underperforming sites and high-growth opportunities., • Customer Insight & Behaviour: Use EPOS and CRM data to understand customer preferences, dwell time, and visit frequency. Support segmentation and loyalty initiatives. Work closely with our external Data insight partner HDI on customer segmentation., • Operational Efficiency: Work with operations and supply chain teams to optimise stock levels, reduce waste, and improve margin performance across the estate., • Marketing & Campaign Analytics: Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, promotions, and bookings. Provide ROI analysis and recommendations for future activity., • Reporting & Visualisation: Develop and maintain dashboards using Excel or similar tools. Ensure stakeholders have access to timely, accurate, and actionable data., • Project Support: Contribute to cross-functional projects such as new site openings, CAPEX investments, sales initiatives and pricing strategy by providing relevant data analysis., • Data Governance & Quality: Ensure data integrity across systems. Work with IT and third-party vendors to improve data capture and reporting processes., • Automation: Work with IT to develop automated reporting and have a keen eye on technological advances with AI to streamline processes., • AI: Implement AI into new or current systems to bridge business knowledge and AI capabilities by understanding both business operations and data preparation to maximize value. Essential skills & experience: • Proven experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role, ideally within hospitality, retail., • Strong skills in Excel and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)., • Experience working with EPOS systems and CRM platforms., • Experience with AI capabilities, implementing into exiting systems or introducing new systems into current ecosystems., • Ability to communicate complex data in a clear, engaging way to non-technical stakeholders., • A proactive, curious mindset with a passion for pubs, people, and performance.
