Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings to ensure coordinated support and risk management. Maintain strong partnership working between the Probation Delivery Unit (PDU) and the YOS team. Deliver structured supervision to young PoPs in line with probation standards and case management expectations. Support young people to access services that promote desistance, including education, training, employment, accommodation, and wellbeing services. Share information effectively between agencies to ensure safeguarding and public protection. Work flexibly between the PDU office and the YOS office to maintain close working relationships with both teams.Person Specification Essential Qualified Probation Officer (PQF or equivalent recognised qualification). Experience working with young people or individuals transitioning from youth to adult services. Strong partnership working skills and the ability to collaborate across agencies. Knowledge of risk assessment, safeguarding, and public protection procedures. Ability to engage and motivate young people with complex needs.Desirable Experience working directly within or alongside a Youth Offending Service. Understanding of trauma-informed approaches and desistance-focused practice.Working Pattern This is a full-time role of 37 hours per week.
