Working closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams, you will transform ideas into commercially successful, production-ready products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and innovation. \n \n This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact within a growing business, supporting both product development and strategic growth initiatives. \n \n \n Key Responsibilities \n \n \n\n • Lead product conceptualisation, design and estimation activities by collaborating with customers to understand requirements, commercial objectives and market trends.\n, • Manage the sample development process, ensuring quality standards and delivery deadlines are consistently achieved.\n, • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining schedules, priorities and effective communication across stakeholders.\n, • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle.\n, • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to source materials and create cost-effective, production-ready designs.\n, • Maintain and monitor quality assurance standards, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance.\n, • Mentor, train and support team members, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.\n, • Create compelling client presentations, technical specifications and manufacturing documentation.\n, • Utilise CAD software, including Gerber Accumark, and Adobe Illustrator (or similar tools) for design development and sample delivery.\n, • Support the transition from sampling through to full production, ensuring seamless delivery via internal and external manufacturing partners.\n\n \n \n \n About You \n \n \n\n • Experience managing product lifecycles or leading design teams within a B2B manufacturing environment, such as automotive, defence, healthcare or similar sectors.\n, • A degree in Design or a related discipline, or working experience in a comparable role.\n, • Strong working knowledge of CAD software and Adobe Illustrator or equivalent design packages.\n, • Experience using MRP/CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\n, • The ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.\n, • A passion for product innovation and creative problem-solving.\n, • A flexible and proactive approach to supporting changing business priorities.\n, • A hands-on mindset with the willingness to contribute at every stage of a project when required.\n\n
