The vacancy About the role Contract: Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week Location: Can be based in Wolverhampton or Lichfield Salary: £46,683.26, plus company car or cash allowance alternative We're looking for an experienced Empty Homes Manager to lead our team in getting properties ready for new customers quickly, safely, and to a high standard. You'll manage operatives, contractors, and resources, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and great customer outcomes. With responsibility for people and budgets, you'll inspire your team to hit performance targets while building strong cross-team relationships and driving value for money. This role combines site visits, customer visits, home working, and office time, with a company car or cash allowance provided for travel. What we're looking for • An experienced leader who can manage and motivate an Empty Homes Team, including operatives and contractors., • Strong track record in property maintenance, team management, and budget control., • Ability to plan, schedule, and deliver works on time, to standard, and within budget., • Confident in driving performance through coaching, development, and clear communication., • Skilled in compliance, health & safety, and ensuring homes are fully certified before handover., • Excellent IT and data analysis skills, with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement., • A collaborative approach, building strong relationships across teams and keeping customer experience at the heart of what you do.
