We are working on a high-profile opportunity within the Asset Management team of a leading global real estate owner, developer and operator, with a best-in-class office platform. The business manages a large, institutional-quality office portfolio comprising landmark assets that combine office, retail and leisure uses, and are recognised for their design quality, placemaking credentials and strong sustainability focus. This role sits at the heart of the asset management function and offers exposure to some of the most complex and high-value office assets in Europe. The Role Reporting to a senior member of the Asset Management team, the Analyst will be responsible for the financial underwriting and ongoing analysis of a c.5 million sq ft office portfolio, supporting strategic and operational decision-making across the lifecycle of the assets. • Key responsibilities include:Building, maintaining and owning detailed financial models for assets across multiple scenarios, • Performing complex financial analysis and valuations, • Modelling the impact of leasing strategies, operating performance and capital expenditure on returns, • Preparing budgets, forecasts and sensitivity analyses to support internal approvals, • Tracking actual performance against budgets and forecasts, • Supporting the quarterly valuation process, • Preparing and summarising market and industry data, • Leading population of quarterly board reports and assisting with business plan presentations, • Coordinating due diligence materials for disposals, financings and recapitalisations, • Working closely with asset management, development, leasing, finance and legal teams The Candidate The successful candidate will be technically strong, highly polished and commercially astute, with the credibility to operate in a top-tier institutional environment. Key attributes include: • Advanced excel financial modelling, analytical and valuation skills, • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams, • Confident working in a fast-paced, collaborative and international environment, • Strong relationship-building skills across multidisciplinary teams, • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word, • Working knowledge of Argus (Developer & DCF) preferred, • Genuine passion for real estate and desire to build a long-term career in the sector Suitable Backgrounds • Candidates need circa two years transferrable industry experience and may come from:, • Real estate asset management, • Real estate investment or development, • Property valuation or advisory, • Real estate lending or structured finance
