Lecturer / Tutor for Access to HE Social Science • Location: Somerset, • Job Type: Full-time, • Salary: £30,064 - £38,754 (dependent on experience and qualifications) Day-to-day of the role: • Coordinate the effective delivery of the Access to HE Social Science Programme., • Monitor and track learners’ achievements and progress using Gradetracker., • Regularly update learning plans in liaison with the Access to HE Coordinator., • Ensure high standards in teaching, learning, and assessment in line with Partnership expectations., • Plan, prepare, and deliver highly effective lessons using a variety of teaching methods., • Develop and quality assure course and delivery materials to ensure compliance with the awarding body and college standards., • Manage and conduct applicant interviews and 1:1 tutorials for the Access to HE Social Science course., • Engage in promotional and marketing activities as required, including open events and parents evenings., • Proven experience in teaching Access to HE courses, with a specific focus on Social Sciences., • Strong organisational and coordination skills to manage course delivery and compliance., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students and staff., • Ability to use educational technology and systems such as Gradetracker, Promonitor, ProWeb, and Dashboard., • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications., • Opportunities for professional development and training.
