Job Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks Provide emotional support and encouragement to promote independence and well-being Implement individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs and preferences Monitor and record residents' progress, behaviours, and any changes in health status Promote a safe and welcoming environment, ensuring health and safety protocols are followed Support residents in engaging with community activities and social events Work collaboratively with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and families to deliver holistic care Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to organisational policies and procedures Required Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a support worker, care assistant, or similar role is desirable Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health & safety regulations Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes Empathy, patience, and resilience to support individuals with diverse needs Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins if required Why Join Us?
