Mechanical Building Services Engineer (Graduate / Junior) North Bristol Salary: Competitive (depending on experience) Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid Working Available An established building services engineering consultancy based in North Bristol is seeking a Graduate or Junior Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate in Building Services Engineering or someone with up to 2 years’ experience in mechanical building services design who is looking to develop their career within a supportive consultancy environment. You will support the delivery of mechanical design solutions across a variety of building projects, including both new build and refurbishment schemes across the UK. Key Responsibilities • Support mechanical building services design across a range of projects, • Assist senior engineers and directors with project delivery across RIBA work stages, • Produce technical calculations, drawings and design documentation, • Work alongside architects, structural engineers and contractors, • Assist with site visits, surveys and commissioning activities, • Contribute to the development of energy-efficient and sustainable engineering solutions Requirements • Degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (Building Services focus preferred), • Graduate level or up to 2 years’ experience in mechanical building services design, • Basic understanding of HVAC systems, ventilation, heating and cooling design, • Awareness of UK building regulations and RIBA work stages, • Strong communication and teamwork skills, • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn Desirable: • Experience with IESVE or other building performance modelling tools, • Exposure to Revit, AutoCAD or other design software What’s on Offer • Competitive salary depending on experience, • Hybrid and flexible working, • Opportunity to work on a variety of building services design projects, • Supportive environment with strong training and career development
