Senior Support Worker / Team Leader Supported Accommodation Southport Full-Time | 36 Hours Per Week £15.33 £15.94 per hour + £60 per sleep-in Annual Salary: £34,460 £35,600 inclusive of two sleep-ins per week Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior Support Worker / Team Leader to join their Supported Accommodation service in Southport, supporting young people aged 1618 who are leaving care and transitioning toward independent living. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced residential childcare or supported accommodation professional who is passionate about empowering young people and helping them build the confidence and life skills needed for adulthood. The Role You will oversee a Supported Accommodation service consisting of 6 individual flats, providing practical and emotional support to young people in a semi-independent setting. This is a lone-working position, suited to someone who is organised, confident in decision-making and able to work independently while maintaining high standards of support and safeguarding. You will play a key role in helping young people develop essential life skills, including budgeting, cooking, tenancy responsibilities, education, employment and emotional wellbeing.
