This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong mechanical and electrical assembly experience who enjoys working on technically advanced systems. What You’ll Be Doing • Building complex electro-mechanical systems from engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions, • Mechanical assembly, wiring, and integration of components such as:, • PCBs, • Power supplies, • Cooling systems, • Server-based hardware, • Carrying out fault finding, repair, and rework on assemblies, • Interpreting electrical schematics and resolving issues, • Ensuring high-quality builds through self-checking and peer checks, • Supporting production targets and throughput, • Assisting with prototype builds and project work alongside engineering teams, • Contributing to Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives, • Maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient work environment What We’re Looking For • Experience assembling complex electro-mechanical products, • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and wiring diagrams, • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, • Confident working independently and as part of a team, • Good mechanical skills and general workshop experience, • A solid understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, • Familiarity with Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement (desirable), • Good attention to detail and ability to work to high-quality standards Working Hours • Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:00, • Friday: 08:00 – 15:30, • Potential to move into a shift-based role in future (with additional pay) Why Apply? • Work on cutting-edge, high-spec engineering systems, • Be part of a skilled and collaborative manufacturing team, • Opportunity to get involved in prototype and development builds, • Long-term progression within a growing, technology-driven environment
