Service Coordinator Cwmbran, South Wales | Full Time – Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 | £30,000–£34,000 per annum DOE Reed Recruitment are currently working in partnership with plant hire and maintenance business. They have built an excellent reputation for providing excellent levels of quality, reliability, and excellence to every client we serve. Due to a successful period of growth, they're now looking to recruit within the Key Accounts Department, which plays a crucial role in ensuring that fleets are maintained to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance. They are looking for a dedicated and organised Service Co-ordinator to join our team in Cwmbran. The successful candidate will be instrumental in planning and coordinating maintenance activities, supporting technicians, and ensuring our customers receive the outstanding service they expect. As a Service Coordinator, you’ll manage both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and contractual requirements. Acting as a key link between the Service Controller, Service Administrator, technicians, and customers, you’ll help drive efficiency, service quality, and operational performance. Salary and Benefits • A competitive salary £30,000 - £34,000 (dependent on experience), • Pension Scheme, • Holidays + Bank Holidays, • A collaborative and supportive team culture, • Opportunities for professional growth and career progression, • The chance to make a direct impact on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, • Working for an established company with a strong reputation for excellence Duties and Responsibilities • Maintenance Planning & Coordination: Schedule and deliver planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance while maintaining accurate job records, • Breakdown & Emergency Response: Respond quickly to breakdowns, maintain a maximum 120-minute emergency response, and prioritise safety, • Resource Allocation & Inventory Support: Allocate technicians, tools, and parts efficiently; maintain accurate logs in Syrinx, • Customer Communication & Service Delivery: Act as the main point of contact for customers, provide updates, and ensure high satisfaction, • Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance: Ensure all activities meet HSEA requirements, log incidents, and conduct audits, • Data & Systems Management: Maintain real-time service records, conduct audits, and ensure contract compliance, • Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Track KPIs, analyse trends, and implement corrective actions, • Leadership & Team Support: Support, mentor, and promote development among technicians and staff Essential Requirements • Proven experience in service coordination, fleet management, or engineering support, • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, • Knowledge of maintenance planning, compliance, and job closure processes, • Proficiency in Syrinx, Excel, and scheduling systems (or ability to learn quickly) (Desirable), • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement If the above vacancy sounds of interest, then please do not hesitate and click apply today and one of our team will come back to you.
