The menu features fully customisable bowls, salads, and pitas, built with vibrant spices, house-made proteins, fresh vegetables, grains, and flavour-forward sauces. As part of its international growth strategy, The brand is launching in the UK via a delivery-first dark kitchen model, with a clear roadmap toward opening high-street flagship locations. The Role As Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the General Manager in running day-to-day operations of the dark kitchen. You’ll take responsibility for leading shifts, supporting and developing the team, and ensuring standards are consistently met across food quality, service, and compliance. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with strong QSR or fast-casual experience who is ready to step into a senior operational position and grow with an expanding brand. Key Responsibilities • Support the General Manager: Assist in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, stepping in as the senior manager on shift when required, • Shift Leadership: Lead busy delivery-led shifts, ensuring speed, accuracy, quality, and team engagement, • Team Coaching & Development: Support onboarding, training, and coaching of team members across all stations, • Operational Standards: Ensure all opening, closing, and mid-shift checks are completed correctly, • Food Safety & Compliance: Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety in line with UK regulations, • Quality & Consistency: Ensure food is prepared and presented to brand standards at all times, • Problem Solving: Proactively manage operational issues, escalating where appropriate, • Stock & Prep Support: Assist with stock control, prep planning, and waste management, • Brand Representation: Act as a role model for the brands culture, values, and standards as the brand establishes itself in the UK What We’re Looking For • Experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor, or Senior Shift Leader in QSR, fast casual, or dark kitchen environments, • Strong understanding of kitchen operations and delivery-led service models, • Solid knowledge of food safety and health & safety (Level 2 Food Safety required; Level 3 desirable), • Confident, calm leader who can motivate and support teams under pressure, • Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, • Flexible to work evenings and weekends, • Ambitious and keen to progress as the business grows Why Join ? • Join an established US brand launching in the UK, • Be part of the founding management team in a dark kitchen start-up phase, • Clear progression into larger, high-street sites as the brand expands, • Genuine development opportunities within a growing international business, • Hands-on role with real influence on standards and culture
