Geoenvironmental Engineer Doncaster £30,000 - £38,000 (depending on experience) A specialist ground investigation and contaminated land consultancy based in Doncaster is looking to appoint a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a technically focused contractor delivering high-quality site investigations and remediation projects across residential, commercial and industrial developments throughout Yorkshire and the wider UK. You will be involved in both site and office-based work, supporting projects from initial investigation through to reporting and remediation strategy. The Role: Supervising and logging ground investigations (trial pits, boreholes, window sampling) Soil and groundwater sampling in accordance with current standards Phase 1 Desk Studies and Phase 2 Interpretative Reports Contaminated land risk assessments (human health and controlled waters) Preparation of remediation strategies and verification reports Liaising with clients, contractors and regulators Managing data and producing clear, technically accurate reports Requirements: Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering or related discipline 2+ years' experience within a geoenvironmental or contaminated land consultancy Good understanding of UK contaminated land guidance and legislation Experience completing factual and interpretative reports Strong communication skills Full UK driving licence What's on Offer: Competitive salary Strong mix of site and office work Support towards Chartership Clear progression pathway Opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects This is a great opportunity for a Geoenvironmental Engineer in Doncaster looking to progress within a reputable consultancy that values technical development and long-term growth
