Job Summary We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Packer to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, preparing products for shipment, and ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the packing process. Responsibilities • Accurately pick and pack items according to order specifications, ensuring correct quantities and product integrity., • Handle materials safely and efficiently, utilising appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary., • Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements, update stock levels, and process shipping and receiving documentation., • Load and unload goods from lorries or containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage., • Maintain organisation within the warehouse by stocking shelves and managing stock rotation., • Conduct quality control checks on packed items to ensure they meet company standards before dispatch., • Assist with mechanical maintenance or troubleshooting of packing equipment as required., • Previous experience in warehousing, shipping & receiving, or related roles is preferred., • Knowledge of materials handling techniques and mechanical systems is desirable., • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous., • Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently., • Experience with picking & packing processes and stock management., • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfilment., • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment., • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to warehousing operations
