As a Regional Service Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of a wide range of systems, including Cash Tube Systems, VenSafe, AutoStore, DRS, Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL), Self Checkouts, Checkouts, Lockers. This is a field‑based role covering Bedford / Luton and surrounding areas combining planned maintenance, reactive support, and continuous system improvement. Planned Maintenance • Deliver scheduled maintenance across all assigned systems, • Carry out proactive inspections to reduce downtime, • Maintain accurate service records and logs Reactive Support • Respond quickly to system faults and breakdowns, • Diagnose issues and deliver effective repairs, • Escalate complex technical problems when required System Performance & Improvement • Monitor system efficiency and identify optimisation opportunities, • Perform upgrades, modifications, and enhancements, • Ensure full compliance with safety and operational standards Cross-Functional & Customer Support • Support wider business units with technical expertise, • Provide on‑site guidance and basic training to customers/site teams Reporting & Documentation • Produce clear, accurate service reports after every visit, • Document actions, findings, and recommendations professionally Rotating weekly structure: • Days: Monday–Friday, • Nights: Sunday–Thursday, • With some flexibility required for emergency response and operational needs., • Strong technical and problem‑solving skills, • Experience in field service or electromechanical systems (preferred), • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively, • Customer-focused approach with clear communication skills, • Willingness to learn and support new technologies, • High level of autonomy in your day‑to‑day role, • Company vehicle, tools, and equipment provided, • Full training on all supported systems and technologies, • Ongoing technical development and upskilling opportunities, • Structured shift pattern supporting work‑life balance, • Financial and wellbeing platforms and support, • Company pension scheme and competitive time off provisions, • Enhanced sick pay and family leave, • Supportive network and strong engineering team culture, • Opportunity to work with cutting‑edge retail and automation technologies, • Exposure to a wide and diverse range of technical systems If you’re an experienced engineer who enjoys working across a varied technology landscape, takes pride in delivering reliable service, and is looking for a role with autonomy, responsibility, and progression, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
